Mike and Minoo Short have over 25 years of experience in coaching people of different nationalities and professional backgrounds in English communication skills.
Minoo has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. She also holds the Cambridge TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Diploma, qualifying her as an English teacher and teacher-trainer. She has been teaching English since 1982, and has also been Course Director at a number of English language schools in Asia and Europe. Her interests include foreign languages and social affairs.
After an exciting career in international political affairs, Michael became the Director of Studies in an English language school in Iran in 1980. Since then he has been mainly involved in directing English language programmes and teaching English to a wide range of foreign students. He is widely travelled and his hobbies include information technology, science, aviation, astronomy and sailing.

Dialogue Idiomas (Spanish Immersion Courses)

Carmen and Julian are both 47 years old, with two teenage children. Carmen has a degree in Romanic Philology from the University of Valladolid. A qualified secondary school language teacher, she taught French in state schools in Spain for four years, and has been a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language for over twenty years. She speaks four languages, and recently obtained a professional proof-reader qualification. Julian has a degree in Mathematics and works in the export department of a company in Barcelona. In their spare time they enjoy reading, going to the cinema and travelling.
